• • For me, hairdressing is a passion. i am determined to make a difference in the lives of all those i come in contact with, I love traveling the globe as a hair designer, master colorist, photo stylist, and national educator. i am driven by the love of this industry. During my thirty-nine year journey in the hairdressing and fashion industry i have been blessed to receive many accolades that include four nominations for the North American Hairdressing Awards, often referred to as the Academy Awards of the hairdressing industry. Blessed to take home nominations in the areas of Makeover and Color Make-over and i was awarded the winning title of North American Make-over Artist of the Year. This year 2017 is so exciting being nominated in the haircutting category. At Haircolor USA, an International hair color event, i was humbled to receive top honors as Colorist of the Year and Most Motivational Educator, an award which focuses on my desire to inspire and motivate others to seek new professional heights. As an artistic Educator for Matrix for the past thirty three years, i have had the honor to have won the title of Matrix Guest Artist of the Year, Colorist of the Year, and Classic Artist of the Year. i loved represented Matrix as their National Color Spokesperson, and was a featured columnist in the "Color Talk" section of the company's Matrix Magazine. i have been blessed to have the opportunity to create new fashion trends. These creations have graced the covers of leading industry publications … Modern Salon, American Salon, Haircolor and Design, and Process Magazine. Her expertise has been captured in interviews with fashion editors, used in runway shows, and her designs have visually served Matrix in their videos and ad campaigns. Additionally, i have had the opportunity to showcase our industry as a guest artist on television programs in the United States and Canada. i love to push myself to "design outside of the box," My photographic work helps me to focus my ability to create a wide array of styles from editorial, to makeover, and lifestyle designs. i am grateful to have had my work regularly found on covers and in consumer hairdressing publications.
