PBA Urges Extension of FICA Tax Tip Credit
In addition to the PBA COVID-19 Relief Fund, the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) - the largest and most inclusive national trade organization representing manufacturers, distributors, salon and spa business owners, and licensed beauty professionals - continues its effort to support the industry through the COVID-19 crisis by seeking a federal extension of the Section 45B FICA tax tip credit to the beauty industry.

Coty Professional Establishes Hairdresser Relief Program – Applications Open 4/13
As a brand that has been dedicated to supporting the lifeblood of the professional beauty industry, for more than 140 years, Coty Professional Beauty is deeply committed to helping the community during this challenging time of uncertainty.
As part of its COVID-19 industry relief package, Coty Professional Beauty* has established a fund of $200K to support stylists and manicurists through the Hairdressers at Heart program, awarding up to $1,000 that can be used at their discretion. All licensed beauty pros are eligible. Funds will be awarded on a rolling basis starting on April 13 until all funds are awarded.
