Whether it’s the change in season or you’re simply craving a new look, hair color is one of the top ways to express yourself. Rolling into the summer months, many of us are asking for lighter and brighter shades in the salon, however, damage is usually the biggest obstacle when transitioning from one hair color to another. Cutting down on damage without compromising results, recently Wella Professionals Ambassador Briana Cisneros took her long-time client Audrina Patridge to a brand new level of blonde.

Due to filming constraints while shooting the new season of The Hills, Audriana had been unable to change her hair color since last March. Inevitably, she was craving a new color. Opting to stay with a naturally sun-kissed feel but with a much brighter blonde, Briana created her look while reducing damage by utilizing Koleston Perfect permanent color, the hero product used to get the look.

Get The Look:

The Formula:

  • Blondorplex + 20 vol to lift thin small sections using the “Total Transformation Signature Technique”
  • After removing the foils, used two different formulations to tone; both formulas were mixed 1 to 2 with Wella Welloxon Pastel developer.

Using superfine sections, Briana used her Total Transformation signature technique to lift Audriana to the perfect level of blonde. From here she toned her with Koleston Perfect 88/02, 7/1 at the base to create a soft face adjustment and a subtle root shadow. To tone the rest of her hair, Briana used Koleston Perfect 10/16 through her mid-length and ends to add tone, shine. The damage-reducing technology in Koleston Perfect was the key to achieve this healthy-looking finish.
