There’s just something about the start of a new season that makes you want to reinvent your style. You crave a new wardrobe, often get on a health kick and want to step out of the house with a brand new ‘do. Not sure where to start? These styles from Keune educators pull from inspiration around the globe and are giving us all the inspiration we could ever need, as well as the tools to get the look!

Fluffy Ponytail

We have been fans of a good ponytail for a long time, but this season we’re kicking up the drama. The fluffy ponytail works with natural texture and emphasizes a full silhouette.

Get The Look:

STEP 1: Start with freshly blow-dried or second-day strands.

STEP 2: Starting at the nape of the neck, backcomb using a rattail comb and then spritz BLEND Fixing Spray.

STEP 3: Then, use a crimping iron to go over the entire section from root to end. Repeat throughout the head.

STEP 4: Once you’ve crimped the entire head, using a styling brush to comb out the crimps.

STEP 5: Pull the hair back into a high ponytail and secure with an elastic.

STEP 6: Finish your style by using DESIGN shaping spray and crimping any last sections that need a boost!

Messy Upstyle

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markel, brought back the messy upstyle with elegance! This once meme-worthy look has now gained royal acceptance… well, sort of. Regardless of rank, this look is an easy way to style second-day strands for a polished appearance.

Get The Look:

STEP 1: Begin by misting DESIGN Volume Powder throughout the roots and mid-lengths.

STEP 2: Grab a section of hair from the hairline to just above the ear and twist the hair away from the face on each side.

STEP 3: Secure these sections at the nape with a bobby pin.

STEP 4: Cross one of the twisted strands over the others, rolling it up the head and securing with a U-pin.

STEP 5: Do the same with the remaining section, pancaking the strands a bit to add a “messy” finish.

STEP 6: Finish by pulling the sections for the desired effect and spritzing with BLEND Fixing Spray.

Undone Waves

This look isn’t going anywhere this season; undone waves add volume and interest to any cut. Whether you’re heading out for brunch with the girls or a night out on the town, this look easily transitions for day and night!

Get The Look:

STEP 1: Section by section, spritz the hair with BLEND Fixing Spray.

STEP 2: Use a curling iron to wrap 1-inch sections around in an alternating brick-lay pattern around barrels of varying sizes.

STEP 3: Once the entire head is curled, use your fingers to tease the curls and add BLEND Sea Salt Spray to create texture. Tousle and you’re set!
