09e9f5da4e6cc580f97c hair tips girls on the go

Whether you’re chasing after little ones, attending meeting after meeting or just trying to find a way to balance it all, it’s hard to spend a lot of time on your hair. The good news? Having great hair—even on the go—is easier than you think! Add these quick and easy steps to your routine for great hair no matter where your day may take you.

1 - Get a salon treatment.

Gorgeous tresses start at the salon. You’re there every 3 to 4 months for a trim and color touch-up anyway, why not invest in a treatment guaranteed to cut down on styling time? Women with wavy, curly or frizzy hair should opt for a smoothing treatment, such as the formaldehyde-free Cezanne Classic or Express system. Formulated with aloe vera, keratin and a nourishing blend of vitamins and botanical extracts, this anti-aging treatment strengthens and protects strands as it smooths curls and fights frizz, meaning you can wash-and-go in just a few minutes.

2 - Keep bobby pins and hair elastics within reach at all times.

Ever notice that your hair looks perfect at home and then instantly frizzes the moment you step outside? For a quick fix on the go, stash a small box of bobby pins and hair ties in your purse and car. Try to avoid throwing single pins or hair elastics into your bag as they can get lost easily—and pretty much every woman will agree, they’ll never be seen again.

3 - Extend your style with dry shampoo.

Washing and drying your hair takes time. Prolong the life of your style by applying dry shampoo before your hair gets greasy.  A good tip is to apply dry shampoo at night in order to let the product absorb grease while you’re sleeping. In the morning, simply brush your hair, touch up the style with a curling wand or flat iron and you’re out the door.

4 - Style in your sleep.

When it comes to styling your hair versus sleep, most everyone will opt for the latter choice. Make use of those (hopefully) seven hours and create beachy waves while you snooze! If your hair is straight, apply a styling cream into wet hair and then braid it before going to bed. When you wake up in the morning, simply take out the braid and apply texturing spray. If you have textured strands, twist your hair into a bun on top of your head and secure it with an alligator clip for volume and soft waves when you wake up.

5 - Keep it short.

As beautiful as Rapunzel-like locks may be, long hair is a lot to maintain, and if you're in a time crunch, you don't have 20 minutes to style it every day. Try out a mid-length or shoulder-length cut. You'll still feel like you have some length, but all you’ll have to do is add a few loose waves to finish off the trendy style.
