Marc Jacobs Is 60s Inspired This Season
Inspired by 1980’s haute couture, Marc Jacobs created a line that couldn’t be ignored. With elements inspired by Mugler, Yves Saint Laurent, and Ungaro, he made statement-making designs that capitalized on this era and even outshined it. For his Marc Jacobs’ FW2018 Show, his bows were bigger, pants fluffier and shoulders were seriously wider. There was a drama in his collection with the deep hues and bold hats but his outward hourglass figures and oversized coats didn’t send us running. Embracing his flare, when models weren’t wearing hats, their hair color did the talking.

Alberta Ferretti Makes A Power Play On The Runway
In seasons past, Alberta Ferretti highlighted femininity in her ethereal approaches to fashion, however, as the mood of society and empowerment of women has taken on more power so have her designs. Her FW2018 runway showcased strong shapes, bold angles, and a thoughtful palette all designed to pay homage to the motivated woman of the 80s.

Gothic Girl-Inspired At Coach FW2018
Dark” was the first thing that came to mind for many of the show goers at Coach FW2018. From atmosphere to mood and theme, it was an American gothic vibe with a great deal of detail throughout the show. It looks like oversized jackets and fringe will be carried over into Fall alongside carryall bags that will leave you ready for anything.
