The treatment uses a revolutionary low pH system with similar acidity to lemon juice to open up the cuticle to allow the infusion of a proprietary blend of keratin, botanical extracts and vitamins to enter through the cuticle to the cortex replacing lost and damaged protein mass. Because sericin bonds very effectively to the natural keratin in hair and acts as a cement between the strands of keratin proteins, it is able to lock hair into a smoother, straighter shape.

When heat is applied during the flat iron process, the cuticle is closed and the proprietary blend of healthy ingredients is locked into the hair, protecting and smoothing the hair from the inside out.
